300 Ramp Rehabilitation - Frederick Douglass-Greater Rochester International Airport

The 300 Ramp at ROC is a general aviation parking and tie-down area. The ramp is approximately 250,000 square feet of asphalt pavement including a 70,000 square foot tie-down area. Rehabilitation of the 300 ramp consisted of asphalt milling and overlay of 180,000 square feet of asphalt and full depth reconstruction of the 70,000 square foot tie-down area. The reconstruction area included installation of new storm drainage and inlet structures. Tie-downs for 20 aircraft were installed. The rehabilitation work required adjustment of existing structures and new pavement markings throughout.
