Description

Sullivan County International Airport is building a new Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting facility to fulfill the need for a training room, offices, locker room, and garage bay for vehicles and storage. The new building will consist of two parts: the administration area, which will house the training area and gear wash room, and the garage area, which will house the fire and rescue vehicles and storage.

The building is 3,300 square feet and consists of masonry and metal. The masonry veneer varies in height from 4’ to 8’ around the exterior of the building with metal panels above that continue to the standing seam roof above. The “garage” space has clerestory lighting on two sides, in order to provide the space with some natural light.
