Airfield Service Road Pavement Rehabilitation at Albany International Airport

Passero Associates provided design services including the development of plans, specifications and an engineer’s estimate for this $650,000 project. Passero also provided full-time construction inspection services for this reconstruction of four existing service roads (both airside and landside).

The project included rehabilitation of approximately 10,500 LF of two-lane asphalt paved airport service roads and shoulders, cold milling a variable depth of existing asphalt, and placement of a NYSDOT standard asphalt mix bituminous overlay. Approximately 32,000 SF of the project included full depth asphalt pavement reconstruction and minor drainage improvements. The project also included new pavement markings and turf restoration.
