Business Center and Corporate Hangar at Watertown International Airport

Passero Associates assisted the County in providing an enhanced experience for the general aviation community by building a new FBO with room for added services, such as heated hangar space for large business aircraft, lounge, conferencing space, training classroom, office space for facility management, weather briefing area, and operating space for the existing on-airport flight school. The County was awarded a 2012 grant for the first phase of work, the hangar construction. In 2013, the County was awarded a second grant to construct the adjacent office space. The 14,400 square foot code compliant hangar is 120 feet by 120 feet with a clear door opening of 28 feet high x 110 feet wide, and accommodates large business class aircraft. The office space went through numerous stakeholder review iterations before finalizing as a 4,800 square feet finished space.
