Concept plan for a pocket neighborhood along the former Erie Canal. A pocket neighborhoods is a smaller cluster of dwelling units organized around a shared open space that focuses on garnering a sense of community among the residents.
This plan features include senior apartments, townhomes, single family homes, commercial space, community room/fitness center, patios, playground, bike trail connection, community gardens, fire pit, pavilion, bocce, shuffleboard, kayak equipment/storage, canalside dock/deck, and a pedestrian bridge across the canal.
