Ellwanger Barry Building Multi-Family Housing

An historic renovation of an existing eight story proto-skyscraper, the Ellwanger Barry Renovation was redesigned to provide market rate housing in center city Rochester. A delicate balancing act, special attention was paid to successfully preserving the charm of century old design and materials while renovating interiors. Arched brick ceilings on every floor, a large four-story courtyard in the center, and penthouses on the eighth floor are but a few of the features that make this a unique place to live.
