Client

Genesee Valley Park Golf Course - Turf Chipping and Putting Greens

Location

Rochester, NY

Total Cost

$500,000

Description

Passero, in association with Monroe County Parks and the Professional Golfers' Association (PGA), has collaborated to create new putting and chipping greens for the Genesee Valley Park Golf Course. The project involved designing a 14,000 square foot synthetic turf area that will serve as a practice ground for golfing programs, specifically associated with the PGA's First Tee and other Monroe County golf programs.

The new putting and chipping zones have been designed to be durable and resilient, able to withstand frequent use and foot traffic. When not being used for a reserved function, the greens will be open to the public, supporting the existing chipping area, putting green, and driving range at the golf course.

Overall, the project aims to improve the golfing facilities at Genesee Valley Park Golf Course, providing a high-quality practice area for golfers of all skill levels, while also supporting and promoting local golf programs in the community.
