Henrietta Public Library Interiors

Passero Associates provided design services for a new central library located on the town campus. Prior to design, Passero completed a needs assessment and programming to evaluate the feasibility of renovating the existing building or of constructing a new facility. A new two-story structure was determined to be the most effective and efficient solution, while providing opportunities for future expansion. With the library’s location on the town campus, master planning concepts were applied to decisions about the building’s location, site design, form, and materials. Passero also provided renderings and marketing materials for public information sessions prior to referendum. Throughout the programming and design process, Passero has worked alongside library and town staff to design a building “where our community connects, discovers, and learns.”

Passero provided interior design services for this project, including professional assessment, planning, and completion of a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing interior space. Passero developed and implemented a comprehensive design that incorporated the desired style and purpose of the space, while integrating ergonomics, sustainability, and accessibility.
