JCC Student Housing

This 117-student bed residence hall, designed by Passero Associates, will successfully compete with off-campus housing for student residents. The building houses 13 4-bedroom and 13 5-bedroom suites, all with private bedrooms. Each of the 4 and 5 bedroom suites have two full bathrooms with one oversized for ADA compliance. The housing also has one 2-bedroom apartment for the Residence Director and two 1-bedroom units for the Resident Assistants. There is also an overflow studio apartment adjacent to the Residence Director apartment and one classroom.

LEED standards and practices are being used in the design and construction.

The Lodge is a student housing project with a range of housing options from townhomes to cottage style buildings. There is a clubhouse, fitness center, and pool. Understanding the urgency to start construction as soon as possible for a timely delivery, Passero Associates expedited Construction Documents and completed the civil design in less than two weeks to ensure a timely approval. Passero then worked closely with the General Contractor to determine critical milestones for both cost estimating and the construction start.
