This project involved the renovation of an existing interior office suite at L3Harris’ downtown offices. The scope of work included existing conditions documentation and assessment, conceptual and schematic design, construction and permit documents, and construction administration.
The design of this space focused on equity. By relocating a series of private offices to an interior wall, employees were given access to the now double height windows. Removing the existing ceilings, office walls, and opaque transoms on the existing windows, brought light deep into the space and afforded everyone in the office suite access to daylight and views. Breakout workspaces encourage employees to collaborate, while new glass walls on all offices and a newly designed conference room promote communication and transparency. The removal of the existing ceiling, and many interior walls, opens the space up, creating an airy and hospitable space.

Passero developed and implemented a comprehensive design that incorporated the desired style and purpose of the space, while integrating ergonomics, sustainability, and accessibility.
