Lancaster High School Campus Study

The study specifically focused on the parent drop-off area, central faculty/staff (F/S) parking lot, and bus drop-off loop at the High School, as well as conflicts that occur between the parent vehicles and school buses during morning arrival. The primary goal of the Traffic Study was to enhance the safety of on-site pedestrians. Developed alternative recommendations to minimize the potential for pedestrian and vehicular conflicts, and to improve overall campus safety and circulation. Such alternatives consisted of a new parking lot design for faculty, staff, and students and a new green space for entry to the school.
