As part of Passero Associates’ on-call Engineering support for the City of Cincinnati Division of Aviation, our team conducted a runway paving and marking engineering design project, followed by construction. This effort was completed in accordance with FAA Advisory Circulars and funded with the Runway design engineering Grant issued to the Airport.
Passero Associates conducted the field condition surveys of all Runways, Taxiways, and Aprons, supervised Geotechnical engineering efforts, and determined both Pavement Condition Index (PCI) and Pavement Classification Numbers (PCN) for the Airfield. A detailed capital improvements plan and pavement maintenance plan was prepared along with the narrative summary report and submitted to the Airport and the FAA. Updated data files were provided in Micro-PAVER format.
