Signet Hangar #1 at Dayton International Airport

This proposed development provides for an initial 90,000 SF Aircraft Maintenance Hangar to accommodate FAA Aircraft Design Group VI, including associated vehicle parking, administrative office space, and hangar support facilities. The new development site will be occupied by a major Aerospace/Defense Contractor in early 2023.

Passero Associates conducted the initial site due diligence, master planning, and conceptual design to accommodate this development as well as allocate space for two additional 90,000 SF Aircraft Maintenance Hangars for future development.

Significant collaboration has occurred between the Developer (Signet), the end user (future Tenant), and the Passero / Shook - Design/ Build Team including initial programming / space allocation meetings, design charrettes, site tours of existing facilities (to determine end user preferences and operational requirements), as well as design development including in person design page turn meetings for the free exchange of ideas and potential cost implications.

The land available for development is identified in the Airport’s currently approved Airport Master Plan (on file with the Federal Aviation Administration).
