During the Apron Phase 4 project at Dayton International Airport, Passero and the construction team undertook the removal and installation of new concrete between Concourse A and Concourse B. A total of approximately 52,000 square yards of concrete were poured at the site. The construction process necessitated the closure of multiple gates, prompting comprehensive communication efforts among Passero, the airlines, Airport Operations, and Great Lakes Construction. The implementation of the Construction Safety Plan played a crucial role in facilitating the necessary arrangements to avoid any disruptions to airport operations. Notably, the project was completed ahead of schedule, surpassing the anticipated completion date of August 2024.
