Terminal Apron Rehabilitation at Fernandina Beach Municipal Airport

This project entailed rehabilitating 18,000 square yards of flexible pavement comprising the terminal apron at the Fernandina Beach Municipal Airport (FHB). Complementary to restoring the pavement to optimal serviceability was a new taxi-lane pavement marking configuration which will provide new airfield guidance in the terminal apron that aims to ease navigation and help avoid a traffic conflict. As well as new tie-down locations and spacing have been constructed to bring the alignment into the latest FAA standards.
