U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Riverfront Boardwalks/Walkways/Bulkhead Stabilization

The boardwalk/walkway/bulkhead/dock rehabilitation projects (Phase 1-2-3) involved the assessment of the existing bulkhead (and adjoining parking lot); dock rehabilitation; development of alternatives and solutions; and implementation of new and repaired bulkheads (in front or repair of the aging bulkheads). As development of the City’s downtown Historic District continues, the recreational benefits of the new timber boardwalks enhance the beauty and use of the waterfront.
