U.S. Navy NAVFAC Caribbean Boat Ramps

Design-Build of NAVFAC RSS CN Boat Ramp Project St. Kitts, St. Vincent and Grenada Coast Guard Stations — The project consists of a 20 foot wide boat ramp construction at three separate locations. The project sites lie within existing Coast Guard Stations on the islands of St. Kitts, St. Vincent, and Grenada. Each project site required adoption of the same boat ramp design criteria. At each project site, the ramp was designed to conform to the general design criteria of the “Layout, Design and Construction Handbook for Small Craft Facilities” published by the California Department of Boating and Waterways, Boating Facilities Division (1991).
