Various Amazon Distribution Warehouse Projects

SRF Associates, now Passero Associates, has provided traffic operation and highway design services on several Amazon Distribution Warehouse projects throughout Upstate New York. The study areas for each project encompass numerous intersections ranging from nine (9) to over 25 intersections. Facility sizes ranged from 180,000 square feet to over 4,000,000 square feet with over 375 trailer parking spaces.

The studies analyzed build-out conditions with determination and design of off-site mitigation that included new access locations, traffic signals, auxiliary turn lanes, truck accommodations, etc. The projects required working closely with NYSDOT through the traffic study approval, design, permitting, and construction of off-site improvements. Additionally, SRF closely collaborated with the local Counties, IDAs, and other local agencies.
