Webster Recreation Center

Passero Associates provided complete architectural and engineering design services for this beautiful recreation facility, built to serve as both a fitness and community center for Town residents.  Capitalizing on the opportunity to purchase and renovate an existing 28,000 SF fitness facility including 75 acres of grounds from the Xerox Corporation, the Town is providing its residents with a new recreation and community center for $4.8 million, less than half the original planned budget for a completely new facility.  The new Center houses the Town’s Parks and Recreation programs, staff offices, a new fitness facility, classrooms, a senior center, spaces for community meetings, commercial kitchen and a community food cupboard.  The 75-acre site also features multiple ball fields, hiking trails, and miscellaneous passive recreational facilities.  Plenty of parking is available, with the construction of a new 240-car parking lot.
