Description

Passero Associates has worked with the Williamson Public Library on several upgrades to their existing library facility. The process began with a long term master plan in 2018, during which several options were explored to create small meeting and tutoring rooms and additional storage space, and overall upgrades were identified and prioritized. The Meeting Room Renovation not only updated the finishes of the space, but also increased the functionality. New cabinets, counter space, and a sink in the meeting room proper provide additional storage space and are ideal for many of the library’s community programs. The existing kitchenette was updated to create space for a refrigerator and microwave, while still maximizing storage with full height cabinets. The project also involved the creation of a records room, where financial and personnel information can be securely stored. Funding for the Meeting Room Renovation was provided through NYS Library Grants.
